主讲人介绍:徐霄乾,昆山杜克大学祖冲之数学与计算科学中心副研究员,主要从事非线性偏微分方程以及液体的混合问题的研究;2011年毕业于浙江大学数学系,2016年获美国威斯康星大学数学系博士学位;2011年至2019年于卡内基梅隆大学进行博士后研究,期间曾赴布朗大学ICERM研究所进行长期访问,已在Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.、Trans. Amer. Math. Soc、Z. Angew. Math. Phys.,J Nonlinear Sci、J Sci Comput 等数学期刊上发表学术论文十余篇。

内容介绍:In the study of incompressible fluid, one fundamental phenomenon that arises in a wide variety of applications is dissipation enhancement by so-called mixing flow. In this talk, I will give a brief introduction to the idea of mixing flow and the role it plays in the field of advection-diffusion-reaction equation, such as the famous Keller-Segel equation for chemotaxis. I will also discuss the examples of such flows in this talk.
